Land Rover event, Defender Jam, will once again join Galloway Country Fair on 12th and 13th August following last year’s successful partnership. 2022 saw the two events join forces for the first time. This year, they’re collaborating again to produce a show bigger and better than ever.
Visitors to the annual two-day event which takes place at Drumlanrig Castle, can enjoy the best of country pursuits, with local craftsmanship, artisan food and drink as well as show-stopping entertainment. Defender Jam adds an extra dimension to the Fair with a wide variety of Land Rovers on display, stalls, specialists, green-laning opportunities, and more.
Martyn Henderson of Defender Jam says “Last year was great, and we can’t wait to build on its success. The two shows are a great match, so there is something for everyone!”
“What we’ll be offering is a totally family-friendly experience with stalls, show cars, food, drink and the chance to try some off-road driving.”
“With hundreds of Land Rovers of every kind, and from across Europe, to look at, from the oldest to the very latest models, including the specialised vehicles used by mountain rescue teams.
“There’ll even be music from my own Compact Disco Defender that’s been converted into a travelling disco.”
“You don’t have to be a Land Rover fan to come to Defender Jam, but you may well leave wanting one of your own!’
